On Oct. 1, YieldMaxETFs will be announcing the dividends for their newly classified “A” investments. This includes 2 funds that we follow – TSLY (associated with Tesla stock covered call trading) and YBIT (associated with a BITCOIN fund covered call trading). Sometimes the announcements are published before the market opens on Global News Wire. If you miss it, we will follow up later in the morning. Once the YieldMax dividend declarations are made you only have a few hours to buy in before trading closes to become an investor of record in time for the dividend. On the other hand, the stock price often drops by more than the dividend amount for a day or two ExDividend and this can present a bargain buying opportunity for the next monthly dividend if you want to skip the current dividend.
