On a negative note, ULTY shares are for some of us paying dividends late – No idea why. In fact, Robinhood is reporting them a month late however it has also been reported that that may be an error at RobinHood. But we have seen the price of ULTY stabilize somewhat so at today’s price when the payment hits, it will still be paying roughly 85%.
On an unrelated story, the forced resignation of biopharma industry ally and FDA Big Shot Peter Marks was announced today and the crooked media employed by short sellers indeed had their way driving down the prices of vaccine stocks like Moderna (MRNY for us). I am not privy to the inside story, but I had a friend recently die from the “Approved 3rd Covid vaccine” -> Required by his employer, soon after he had the 3rd shot, he lost a leg from a blood clot; within a year he was on dialysis and at 2 years later he died . We have been looking into adding to our position on very cheap MRNY shares paying an 80% dividend. Now all of a sudden they are cheaper driving the yield up to 88% even with this month’s lower dividend. Usually there is a rebound to negative news as it dies down, but as we have mentioned before, even with RFK enforced stricter safety protocols, Moderna is on the verge of releasing a new bird flue vaccine among others that could positively impact the stock price.
Chuck B. commented that tariffs are likely to drive up the demand for used cars. CVNY, a $38/sh hedge fund referencing Carvana, just paid its first dividend of 123%. These new funds typically drop in price for a while but working against that trend will likely be increased demand for used cars. CVNY declares their dividend this week.
Today I sold half my position in ULTY, and have an offer in to buy shares of MRNY and CVNY. While losing on the cost/sh, I made it up on dividends. Meanwhile, expectations for both on MRNY and CVNY are promising.
Don’t negative markets get you down. Big players create them on purpose. Our job is to make money playing both sides of the market.
